"Lum reek" is old Scots for a smoking chimney, from the toast "lang may yer lum reek," and the recipe marries peated Islay single malts with unpeated Speyside malts including aged GlenAllachie.Matured at the GlenAllachie distillery in first-fill bourbon, Pedro Ximénez and red wine casks and bottled at 92 proof, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, in a 700mL bottle, its bronze spirit reveals sweet peat reek, warming mocha, Scottish heather and butterscotch, with a long, gently smoky finish.
