The Epiphone Hummingbird Standard EC Acoustic Guitar brings the legendary Gibson Hummingbird into an accessible, modern player’s instrument. First introduced in 1960, the Hummingbird quickly became one of the world’s most recognisable and best-loved square-shouldered acoustics, renowned for its versatility across folk, rock, country, and beyond. This “Inspired by Gibson” edition adds a convenient cutaway and upgraded electronics, making it equally suited to the stage, studio, or home.
Crafted with all-solid tonewoods, the Hummingbird Standard EC features a solid spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides for the classic Hummingbird tonal recipe—rich, warm, and articulate. The cutaway body design allows easy access to upper frets, while the one-piece mahogany neck with a Rounded “C” profile and rosewood fingerboard ensures smooth playability. Iconic mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays and the redesigned Hummingbird pickguard with its floral and bird artwork complete the timeless look.
Equipped with Fishman S-Core electronics, the Hummingbird Standard EC delivers natural amplified tone with volume, EQ, phase controls, and a built-in tuner for precision on stage. Reliable Grover Rotomatic tuners and a bone nut provide excellent tuning stability, while a premium gig bag is included for protection and portability.
