These contain a mix of infected cheddars swirled with dripping muensters and inlaid with a pure evil black. Black on yellow-orange is a high-contrast pairing, so a set this loud is still perfectly practical to read.
Baron of Dice cast these in resin rather than moulding them in plastic, which is why no two are quite the same — the swirl is poured, so each die in the pack carries its own pattern. The symbol face is inlaid rather than printed, so it does not wear off the way painted pips do.
The symbols sit on the 6 face, so a hit or a failure reads across the table without picking the die up — which is the whole reason a themed set beats a handful of casino dice.
