The Peat Monster Cask Strength is a limited edition released to mark twenty years of Compass Box's smoky flagship, which began life in 2003 as a custom bottling for Park Avenue Liquor Shop in New York. To celebrate that American origin, whiskymakers James Saxon and Alex Driver finished part of the blend in seasoned virgin American oak barrels coopered in Missouri.Bottled at a full 113.4 proof (56.7% ABV), non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, it delivers everything the standard Peat Monster does, dense peat smoke, sea air, orange and malt, with added vanilla and cinnamon from the new American oak and the extra weight that cask strength brings. The finish is long, smoky and spiced. A one-time bottling for peat lovers and Compass Box collectors that rewards a splash of water.Buy Compass Box The Peat Monster Cask Strength 20th Anniversary Limited Edition online with fast shipping right to your door.
