The Signature Cask Collection, launched in October 2024 and blended by Drew Mayville — the Sazerac master blender behind the Antique Collection itself — finishes Myers's Original Dark in five different BTAC barrels, each drawn as a single barrel and proofed to suit the cask. The Stagg edition is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). Myers's notes: a bold nose dominated by dark molasses, leather, coffee, and charred oak, then deep dark cherry, brown sugar, and toasted oak, finishing robust with strong oak and smoky undertones. Yahoo found cherry cola and treacle, with the elevated proof allowing a lengthy finish where toasted oak and campfire smoke emerge — very much a rum, but one for drinkers who appreciate full-flavored American whiskey.
