Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch No. 7 is a limited cask-strength release from Glengyle, the Campbeltown distillery resurrected in 2004 by the family owners of Springbank. The Heavily Peated series uses barley peated to Islay-like levels on Springbank's own floor maltings, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at full strength in small numbered batches that sell out within weeks.Bottled at 118.2 proof (59.1% ABV), non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, Batch No. 7 is smoky and peaty on the nose with ash, charred oak, vanilla, honey and caramel, then a full-bodied, rich palate of smoked meat, roasted nuts and dark chocolate where the intense peat stays beautifully balanced, finishing long and satisfying with lingering warmth. Each batch differs slightly, which makes the series a favorite of collectors who chase every release. A must for peat lovers and Springbank devotees.Buy Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch No. 7 Cask Strength Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch online with fast shipping right to your door.
