Mette Abricot is an apricot eau-de-vie from Distillerie Mette, the family distillery founded in 1968 in Ribeauvillé, Alsace, and one of the most respected names in French fruit brandy. Ripe apricots are fermented whole and distilled in small copper stills, then bottled unaged and unsweetened so that nothing but the fruit's aroma remains. Bottled at 45% ABV in a 375ml bottle. The nose is intense fresh apricot with a hint of almond from the stone. The palate is dry, clean and vividly fruity, with a rich, nuanced apricot character and a long, warming finish. Serve it lightly chilled in a small glass after dinner, the Alsatian way, or use it to add real fruit intensity to a cocktail, an apricot sour, a stone-fruit Bellini or a splash in Champagne. A benchmark eau-de-vie.Buy Distillerie Mette Abricot Apricot Eau-de-Vie 375ml online with fast shipping right to your door.
