The Polish airborne wing, known as the Odznaka Spadochronowa (Parachutist Badge), features a distinctive diving silver eagle with a laurel wreath in its beak. Originating from a 1919 military pilot design, it was adopted in 1941 for Polish paratroopers, famously worn by World War II elite forces like the Cichociemni and the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade.
