Pür Spirits Blackthorn Sloe Gin is a German sloe gin made the traditional way with four ingredients: gin, wild sloe berries, sugar and patience. Pür Spirits distills its own gin, then infuses it with the dark blue sloes that grow on thorny blackthorn hedgerows across Europe in autumn; the sugar draws the berries' full flavor and color into the spirit. The result is a mahogany-colored liqueur that balances ripe sweetness with fresh acidity. The producer describes aromas of plum, blackberry and black tea with gin in the background, restrained sweetness, a light-bodied, silky texture and an elegant style, notably drier than many commercial sloe gins. Sip it neat in winter the way it was traditionally enjoyed, pour a sloe gin and tonic, or use it in a Sloe Gin Fizz or a Charlie Chaplin with apricot brandy and lime. A refined European take on a classic.Buy Pür Spirits Blackthorn Sloe Gin online with fast shipping right to your door.
