Fender California Deluxe Monterey E Mahogany Acoustic Electric

Comfortable folk-style acoustic electric with warm mahogany tone and Fishman electronics

Overview
The Fender California Deluxe Monterey E Mahogany Acoustic Electric is designed for players who want a comfortable, expressive acoustic with a warm and focused voice. Its folk-style orchestra/auditorium body offers an intimate playing feel that works well for songwriting, practice, recording and performance. With a solid mahogany top, laminated mahogany back and sides, scalloped X bracing and Fishman CD-1 electronics, this California Deluxe model delivers earthy midrange character, smooth highs and stage-ready amplified sound.

Features
The solid mahogany top gives the Monterey E Mahogany a warm, punchy and naturally compressed response that feels especially satisfying for vocal accompaniment, fingerpicking and relaxed strumming. Laminated mahogany back and sides add balance and support, while scalloped X bracing helps the body respond with a fuller acoustic voice and clear articulation.

The orchestra/auditorium body shape keeps the guitar comfortable and easy to hold, making it a great fit for long writing sessions or players who prefer a more compact acoustic feel. A slim “C” mahogany neck, 12 inch radius walnut fretboard and 25.5 inch scale length create a smooth, modern playing experience that works well for both chord work and melodic ideas.

The onboard Fishman CD-1 preamp makes this Monterey E Mahogany practical for plugged-in use. Volume, bass, treble, tuner and phase controls give you useful stage and recording control directly from the guitar, while sealed die-cast split-shaft tuning machines, a Micarta nut and saddle, Modern Viking bridge and phosphor bronze strings complete a dependable acoustic electric platform.
