HAWK HR-202 ECHO UNIT spring reverb｜ Other Products

Another great vintage Japanese spring reverb - a Hawk HR-202 for sale serviced and in great working order
Dating from the 70s or early 80s, the HR-202 Echo Unit could be approximately described as being a single input channel version of the Hawk HR-45. There are separate input controls for Echo and Normal for both Mic and Line inputs, Echo Level pot and Phase switch, as well as Master Output. Quarter inch input sockets for Mic and Line are on the front panel with stereo inputs/outputs on the rear via RCA phonos.
Overdriving the Mic input with guitar yields a meatier distortion than the HR-45 - this one really snarls and growls. Yet another flavour for the sound palette: I could justify keeping this one and the 45…
We landed a selection of these vintage Japanese machines recently – read all about them in our Hawk/Mirano tape echo and spring reverb blog post.
Condition - Good overall condition, serviced and working well; some scuffs and scratches to the finish and wear to the laminate on the end panels.
Price includes VAT at 20% (for sales in UK/EU) - buyers outside the EU please contact us for tax-free prices. VAT-free sales possible to businesses and individuals in the EU with a valid VAT Number.
100v Japanese model – it will work fine on North American mains without a transformer. Please ask us if you have any questions. A step-down transformer can be used in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made transformer if required.
