Shopping Inspiration｜Franz Ferdinand: Always Ascending (Indie Exclusive Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP｜ Other Products

Franz Ferdinand links with Philippe Zdar for their first studio full-length in 5 years! After more than a decade of rewriting the script, the Scottish indie heroes have come full-circle on Always Ascending, turning in 10 songs that capture the essence of what made their self-titled debut so infectious: “we wanted to make dance music but play it as a raw band.” And they came to the right place; Zdar is basically the go-to guy for slickly-produced cosmic pop albums. The distilled return-to-form is on full display on lead single “Lazy Boy,” the closest they’ve come to that 2004 magic in years. Also check out “Lois Lane,” “Glimpse Of Love” and the pair of swaggy ballads tickling that weird part of our brain that loves Pulp: “The Academy Award” and “Slow Don’t Kill Me Slow.” Indie-exclusive pink colored vinyl, includes 8 page booklet, poster and code for digital download.
