Tullamore D.E.W. XO Caribbean Rum Cask Finish Irish Whiskey takes the original triple-blend Tullamore, grain, malt and pot still whiskeys triple distilled and aged in bourbon and sherry casks, and finishes it in hand-selected Caribbean rum casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof), a touch stronger than the standard D.E.W.The rum casks add tropical fruit, banana, brown sugar and a hint of molasses to the whiskey's honeyed, spicy core, with vanilla and oak on a smooth, slightly sweeter palate and a warm finish. It sips well neat and makes a great whiskey for tiki-leaning cocktails: try it in a whiskey daiquiri, a Hot Buttered Whiskey, or with ginger beer and lime. This 750ml bottle is a fun, affordable twist on a classic Irish blend.
