The Beverly Reserve Barrel Strength Blended American Whiskey is the uncut version of The Beverly's rye-and-bourbon blend, bottled at 116 proof with no water added. It combines straight rye and straight bourbon whiskeys for a full-bodied pour built for drinkers who want intensity.Toasted oak, dark chocolate and caramel lead, with dried fruit, spice and a touch of molasses behind them. The mouthfeel is broad and warm, moving through peppery rye, brown sugar and baking spice before a finish of oak, velvety caramel and a hint of leather. A few drops of water open it up; on a large cube it makes a serious Old Fashioned. This 750ml bottle is the one to reach for if the standard High Rye left you wanting more proof.
