Methimazole 50 mg/mL Compounded Transdermal Gel｜ Pet Supplies

Methimazole 50 mg/mL Compounded Transdermal Gel is prepared to order to support the exact dosing your veterinarian prescribes for your cat. Methimazole is an antithyroid thioamide commonly prescribed to help manage feline hyperthyroidism by reducing the production of thyroid hormones. The transdermal gel format allows vet-directed dosing applied to a hairless skin site (often the inner ear), which can be helpful for cats that resist oral tablets. Each 1 mL unit is compounded at 50 mg/mL to facilitate precise, veterinarian-guided therapy for cats with overactive thyroid.
